Karaoke / Barbecue Party
May 26, 2007, we had yet another party at a member’s house in Analamahitsy.
We arrived at the place around 2:30pm. We decided to meet outside to start with some games: “Truth or dare” (again), then “ending/beginning” (like on the website).
Later we went into the house and started the karaoke session. Many of us enjoyed singing (although some were completely off-tune) because the play list was interesting. Actually, the songs were English, Malagasy and even French. It was funny to see and to hear the members acting like their favorite singers. I guess it could be interesting to organize a “singing contest” someday.
Some members preferred to dance so we alternated the karaoke with a dancing party.
Guys were more concentrated outside preparing the barbecue (and drinking beer). We had grilled sausages and beef kebabs. At 10:00 pm we started to launch the “silamangany soup” party.
We continued the karaoke party until we were too tired and decided to lay beds on the floor and sleep.
Some members had to leave earlier and missed the fireworks.
I believe we all had fun and hope we will plan the next activity very soon.
