That’s it, we left our dear home made blogging system that we’ve been with for about 3 years to WordPress a much better platform in terms of security, usability and maintenance. We also chose WP because now our online most active members are becoming more and more used to it.

What’s new

The core of the ICE website has changed. That means you won’t be able to post news, articles, jokes and so on unless you’re registered. To do so, use the register link in the indentification box on your right and follow what is said.

The forum and the gallery are still on

Only the ICE blog changed to WP, the rest will remain as they are I mean the forum and the photo gallery (which I still need to tune lol – have no time now). Thus, your accounts on ICE are not lost and are still active. They will allow you to log in only on the forums and the gallery though.

What we’ve lost

All comments on articles, news and contributions could not have been moved to WP. I have them on the old DB but I’m still thinking of a good trick to hook them on the right posts.

We’ll put a tutorial section on how to use WP soon.
