Recently we came upon the FLI English Club on Facebook and found out that we shared the same vision. In a discussion on the famous social network we asked them more about the club and the President Marc Odilon T. told us how it started and what the FLI EC different activities are.

FOREIGN LANGUAGES INSTITUTE

Foreign Languages Institute, abbreviated F.L.I, took its start in 2007 in Fianarantsoa, a place where people ( students, workers, non workers) can learn or perform languages, it means that English is not the one language people can learn and improve, F.L.I is built by Randrianarison DELE, known as Mister DELE, has made a great effort to launch English in Fianar , now, hundreds, thousands of people speak languages, we’re proud, FLI is (one of) the greatest Institute in Fianara, lastly, during the summer, about four hundred people learnt and performed their languages there

In fact there are about 8 English courses in Here today

In 2000, he first started only with a small English course,

In 2004, he met with Americans who helped him a lot, and performed his Language, English language, then they set a new English course, called AEC in fianar, American English Course in Fianar, (nothing to do with AEC in Tana). AEC stood three years started its progress but he didn’t stay there

In 2007, F.L.I was born; it is still running until today

He has found English club twice but it’s not going, he didn’t know the need of people, in fact it is not easy at all to start English Club, people think that English Club is where to study or our view is to practise and share knowledge,

Members only need activities like outing, picnic and stuff, and if there are no expenses, they are not interested

Now, we are trying once again an English club, but it’s different from those clubs, because, only the students from FLI, can be members in FLI English club, students have achieved 3 months of study at least to avoid UN- participation in the discussion, this is because we need guys who can express even not very good but want to go further

FLI English club is now running and we hope it will always be running forever

The FLI English club was created by Mister Dele and I’m the President

We can receive any guest ( Malagasy or vazaha) once they come to speak English so you are welcome when you pass by Fianar

We have an English emission on Soafia Radio, 103fm every Saturday from 3 to 4 pm, and we did also on MBS radio before it was…………we are now planning to get a new local radio station.
