It was due to the lack of time and I also managed to break my camera, too bad. Therefore, we thank José for not only hosting us but also for preparing us something delicious to eat and we won’t forget the drink as well. For this month, the MS is heading to Andoharanofotsy. Andry and Lalah will be our main host. Even though, in the past, both members had personaly received MS sessions, this time they will officially have it as a new family ;) . It was decided that we’ll have the same food and drink. Lalah, will cook for us. She is a good cook by the way :D and she is not the only one in the club ;)

We used to have it every second Saturday of the month but we had to put on stand by due to the unrest. It was with a great pleasure then that the ICE members had the first session of this year. With a new start and a new host, we knew it was going to be special. Dago, kindly accepted to receive us at her place.

After the meeting, we all ate at a Malagasy restaurant close to our room 11. I forgot its name but it has tasty and cheap food. The ICE members took a whole long table and ordered turn by turn what they wanted to eat. Then, we took a bus to go to Ankandindramamy. We were numerous enough to fill almost all the seats of the little taxi-be 135 lol. I saw on the conducteur’s face the smile of satisfaction.

We chose “Enchanted“, a choice that honestly didn’t motivate me at all. It is a mix of cartoon and musical at the same time. You know the Disney kind that girls adore. But it turn out to be interesting, englishly speaking (does that exist?). The story is kind of fairytale so the English spoken in it was a bit formal. The actors spoke slowly and clearly. I guess the guys could understand most of what they said. I chatted with Tija, a facebook friend, last week and she asked if we put subtitles when we watched movies. I said no. She made a good point tough. Subtitles can help members remember and properly write the words that they’re hearing. For our first MS we asked the guys if they’d like to have (English) subtitles and the answer was “no”. They said subtitles may attract more their attention than the dialogue thus they may miss the story. Pretty true.

At the end the movie, the girls were still glued on the screen hypnotized by prince Edward loool :p while the boys ate all the food lool :p Next time we’ll chose bloody film.

In general, we have the members contribute for the food and drink during the MS and the club completes all other expenses but this time it was a bit different. Not only did our main host provide us with comfortable couch and chairs but also she made delicious coconut flan and natural juice for the ICE members and God knows how much we liked it. From Analakely to Andravoahangy we had to options, because we still had a meeting at Rabearivelo, going down to Behoririka and wades into thousands of hawkers and people doing their shopping under a hot sun or taking the stairs up to Tsiazotafo and have cooler paths between the blocks behind Rabearivelo high school. We agreed that the second one was the better. Preparing the food Preparing food for a group is always fun, we worked as a real manufacturer proceeding like real professionals. A real chain process. We take a bread, put butter in it, pass it to the next group in charge of the “lasary” then it ends up with the cooked meats. We discovered something Saturday, something that all girls found cute lol, a boy who’s taking care of the food that’s why we all elected Feno as Member of the Day. Watching and eating I think having a lot of choices sometimes complicated things and it doesn’t help you make decision quicker. Dago, who’s no doubt the most movie hooked of us brought 10 movies so we had to proceed to a quick vote from which “Inside Man” came out as the majority’s choice. And we sat watching, eating, drinking, laughing, joking and waiting for the late comers until the movie ended. We thank Haingo for having us at her place for this year’s last MS. See you next year.
